New Korean Fried Chicken Restaurant Chicken Pong Opens in Koreatown LA
Chicken Pong is a newly opened Korean fried chicken restaurant that opened on December 16, 2021. It’s a new restaurant that focuses on being different from other Korean fried chicken businesses in Koreatown. They also offer a special deal where you can dine in or take out and receive a 10% off from 3pm-6pm (only on Saturday and Sunday).
What’s special about Chicken Pong?
As a small business, Chicken Pong is already being recommended by many customers for their great customer service and deliciously fried and seasoned chicken. They have all kinds of flavors so that it isn’t too spicy or sweet for everyone. They are serving flavors that are not seen within the Korean fried chicken world like Lemon Pepper and Kingston Black.
Where is Chicken Pong located?
Chicken Pong is located right in the center of Wilshire Blvd and S Alexandria Ave. City Center H Mart and Chapman Plaza are right across the street, so it won’t be too difficult to find. The restaurants near Chicken Pong would be Chang Hwa Dang (CHD) and 85° Bakery Cafe.
What's on the menu?
There are a variety of flavors you can choose from: Original Crispy, Yangnyeom Spicy, Galbi (soy sauce), Lemon Pepper, Kingston Black, and Cali Cajun (spicy). They sell these flavors in chicken and also the wings. With sides like pickled radish, garden salad, french fries, and more, they are a great addition to the chicken. They also have a special lunch menu where you can order a chicken sandwich with flavors of original, Cajun, and Galbi. You can also have a four piece chicken set with two sides for lunch! Many Korean fried chicken places don’t have special lunch options, so you should definitely try it out.
